Every Member a Disciple
Can a person be a Christian without being a disciple?
Well, what is the difference between a Christian and a disciple?
Some would say nothing at all, that is the point. A Christian is a disciple and a disciple is a Christian.
Others would say, no, first you become a Christian--first you “get saved”-- and THEN you grow closer to God, and that growth is discipleship.
I am beginning a brand new, 7 part series called Every member. It is a series all about who we
are in Christ. And because of who we are, what does God expect of me? What does it mean to
be a Christian? What does it mean that I am part of the family of God?
By the end of this series, I want you to feel more joy than you have every felt about being part
of the royal priesthood of God, and that joy will overflow into a lifestyle that is more
conformed to Christ, more whole, more at peace than you can imagine. I’m excited. Let’s get
right to it.
Each week, we will fill in this blank with a different noun for Every Member A _______.
Today’s word is DISCIPLE. Every Member a Disciple.
