What does Christianity uniquely offer to the world?

System of morals and ethics?
Love?
Sense of purpose and calm, known as inner peace?

I don’t deny those things are true, but they are not the single benefit Christianity bestows on
the world, they are by-products.

The benefit is this. It gives the solution to how humans can go from being under the wrath of
God for all eternity in hell, to being under the grace of God for all eternity in heaven.
It offers, in other words, forgiveness of sin.

It is easy to see why this message gets diluted and misunderstood. This is rarely what we
would think of as our deepest need.

Often, our felt need is not our deepest need.
Our pressing need is not our primary need

What we WANT most is not what we NEED most

We get so frustrated, that we blame God—why have you prevented this? Done this? Allowed
this? Not allowed this?
