The Promise > The Problem
His promise is always greater than your problem.
You ever have a morning where stuff just starts off all wrong?
You get up late, you yell at the kids, when you finally get to work, waiting in your office are ALL
of the pastors and ministers in Cullman.
What’s going on.
They confront you. And they look at you and say, We are convinced that you are possessed by
Satan, and that you go through your life doing what demons tell you to do.
Can you imagine? I mean, by the way, if your first thought is...well that explains a lot
actually...
You have missed the point. But can you imagine the intensity? The adrenaline?
Jesus of Nazareth had had a pretty rough day the day that happened to him.
It had begun with blasphemous accusations by the Pharisees that he was controlled by
Beelzebub. It was a fierce adrenaline pumping confrontation. Then his mother and brothers
had attempted to kidnap him and take him back to Nazareth, for they thought he was out of
his mind. Next leaving the crowded house he went down by the sea, where amidst a great
mass of people he began teaching in parables. The crowd was so thick that he got into a boat
and taught the rest of the day from it in the hot sun. Finally when evening came Jesus (who by
now is sunburned and starving, and completely exhausted) gave the order to head out.
Pick up the action in Mark 4:35...
